Day 1
We took a direct flight from Rome to Athens (2h). From the airport to the city center we took a taxi (38 eur). We arrived in the afternoon in Athens and we stayed at hotel Electra Palace (https://www.electrahotels.gr/en/athens/electra-palace-athens/), perfect location in the beautiful neighborhood Plaka. We had a room with a stunning view on the Akropolis.
Day 2
We spent the all day visiting the Akropolis
Lunch: typical spinach pie in a greek taverna

Day 3
Morning: Arch of Hadrian, Temple of Olympian Zeus and Panathenaic Stadium
Lunch: Terrace of the Acropolis Museum
Afternoon: Acropolis Museum

After dinner: cocktail at Zurbaran http://zurbaranathens.gr/
Day 4
Morning: neighborhood Monastiraki, The Art Foundation (TAF) and the Ancient Agora of Athens
Lunch: Terrace of Hotel Grande Bretagne http://www.grandebretagne.gr/
Afternoon: Syntagma Square (the central square of Athens)

Day 5
Homecoming :-(
Even if in Athens there is the underground, we walked a lot and we took taxis in the night (they are cheap compared to Italy). In Athens there are a lot of things to see and to do, so 4 days are necessary!
